Some photos around Rochester
I had to do a couple of days work in the Cathedral of this charming City, so I took my camera along on the second day for a few shots.

The City has grown from a little Saxon village to its present status. Rochester has the second oldest Cathedral in the country.
The Norman castle, finished in 1126. If was built during the reign of Henry I.
The east end of the Cathedral. Limited space prevented me from taking this from further back!
The north side of the Cathedral.
Eastgate House. This was built in 1590-91 for Sir Peter Buck. He was in charge of the Dockyard, and oversaw all the men and seamen serving there.
Inside the Cathedral... The west case of the organ.
And the east case.

Looking from the west end along the nave.
